FCSI has just released a plugin for Smallworld that allows the backdrop viewing of the OpenStreetMap.org data. It also allows you to do a free text search of names within OpenStreetMap. We also have a patent pending process to automatically map downloaded vector data into a usable data by Smallworld.

Future functionality will be route planning.

FCSI has created a 5 Dimensional TIN Triangle within the Smallworld TIN geometry model. It is specifically designed for use by the Training and Simulation industry, but the usefulness could be seen in the general utility GIS industry to support things like time or some other measurement. Please contact us if you are interested in this technology.
